Vi tycker egentligen inte att det går att tävla i musik. All support och kärlek vi får från er som lyssnar och kommer till spelningarna är värt mycket, mycket mer än något pris någonsin kan vara! Men i år är vi nominerade till Guldmicken i P3 Guld. Ett pris för liveshowerna, där folket röstar! Och det priset vill vi verkligen vinna tillsammans med er! You might have known me as The Long Distance Runner since I dropped that album in 2004. However, looking back at it, I was really more of a mid distance runner. As a kid my favorite distance was 15 km, and I ran a lot of 5 and 10 km as well. It felt long then, but compared to the ultra trend of today, it’s more like a jog in the park. I’m not ready for the ultra distances yet, but I’ve done two Lidingöloppet (30 km), and I’m preparing for my first marathon at the moment. It will be The Kilimanjaro Marathon on March 2nd next year. The long awaited return to Australia! And this time we’ll be touring down under with the brilliant dude Sage Francis. Boom!
On Friday it’s world premiere for Fair Ground. A symphony written by Embee & Promoe together with Cleo, Ayla Adams and Seinabo Sey, inspired by the work of children in mid and high school. Nine new songs will be performed live together with a 45 piece symphonic orchestra plus dancers and a children’s choir at the Opera House in Umeå on October 4th and 5th.
