When we picked up our luggage we were shocked to see that we all of a sudden had landed in FRA-country. Better watch what you say over here!

I sprained my ankle the day before yesterday (like so many times before playing basketball or handball) while I was shooting a video in Finland with the Conscious Youths. I was jumping up and down like a mad man and suddenly I stepped on something… It hurt pretty bad and I couldn’t continue shooting the video – except for some shots lying and sitting down. Then I left for the hotel and I had to hop on one leg the whole way to my room. Of course the receptionist put me in the room furthest away from the elevator… I was fucking soaked when I got to the room, slept for 2 hours and had to catch a flight back home.

I gotta big up the airport assistance crew though, who rolled me in a wheelchair from check in to the plane, and then another one from the plane all the way to where the trains go to Malmö:

(Notice that’s Falk on the wheelchair! Same company who are notorious for beating up graff writers in Sweden. No love for Falk security of course, but the girl who pushed me in that wheelchair was real kind and helpful.)

On another note I talked to the guys in Conscious Youths and told them I couldn’t be in the group. I don’t know if you know this, but I was for a while – but I soon noticed that I didn’t have enough time to get as involved as I needed to – to really feel a part of the group. I’ll be a guest on their album though, which is soon to be released.

According to our friends the police there were 13000 people at the show in Malmö yesterday. Thank you all, you were great!

FRA – idag tre bokstäver på mångas läppar, av många uttalade med avsmak och ilska. Av andra med uppgivenhet.. Antagligen var det bl a därför majoriteten inte blev tillfrågad när FRA-lagen klubbades igenom, knappt utan debatt, där – innan riksdagens sommaruppehåll – och, lägligt nog, under fotbolls-em. Sista ordet är dock inte sagt. Vi kommer fortsätta skriva, sjunga, protestera, demonstrera och debattera mot övervakningssamhället. (Orättfärdiga) lagar är till för att rivas upp! ‘Den Ljusnande FRAmtid text’

As y’all know Cosmic retired with all the millions he made in Looptroop, and now all his days consist of playing golf in the sun. I had the opportunity to walk with him and Erik when they played in Skåne last week, and they hung out in my country house. During one rainy day we also had a chance to write a new song – Growing up on the Road – that will be on a future project I’m working on – so be on the look out for that!

I just spent 2 real creative days in Astma’s studio. We recorded 2 new songs for my swedish album and one joint in english for another project I’m working on too. I would like to share them with you right now, but I’ll have to wait till the whole album is finished. Big up Astma, Jimmy Ledrac and Hoffmaestro who came through to lay some nice harmonisumzz!
