Me and Cosmic left Västerås in 95 to stay in Malmö for about a year. If you know anything about the graff scene in Malmö nowadays, you may be surprised to hear that back in the mid nineties there was hardly a scene worth mentioning. We felt like Västerås was way more hardcore (as you can see from the comments in our sketches made in Finsta’s book back in 96) – and there weren’t a lot of other things to be proud of from Västerås back then.

Cosmic’s back in Looptroop!!!!
Yep, that’s right – you read it correctly! At an emotional and beautiful show in Helsinki the other day I couldn’t keep it a secret anymore, so it’s only right that we let all of you know. It was decided in March this year, and since then we’ve been four in the studio again – working on the new Looptroop album. And the joy and happiness have been overflowing in the Cabinet!
“This last year I fell in love with making music again, and being back in the studio with the guys feels really inspiring” says Cosmic. The album sounds great already and we can’t wait to release it to you. But in the meantime all four of us will be doing three exclusive festival shows this summer. Lunatic Festival in Lüneburg (Germany), KAOS in Mellerud (Sweden) and Block Fest in Tampere (Finland). Make sure not to miss them if you’re in the area. It’s reunion time!
